 CORE SKILLS
Accurate figurative sculpture in the round ; bas -relief in clay from life 
 or photos working to a variety of scales.

 Designing, making and operating puppets ( foot operated,rod, glove and 
shadow theatre)/Basic animatronics.

Flotsam and Jetsom Climate Change Choices. Isle of Wight Area of 
Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership and Medina high school project. 
Creating assemblage sculpture from beach waste and making land art.

St Annes Girls School Yr 8  Maths sculpture project. Exploration of 
symmetry and scale through making a large Torus knot from plastic milk 
bottles and cable ties.
Yurt in the Quay Month long Residency Quay Arts Centre Isle of Wight 
Nomadic life and culture.  Workshops in a yurt  with classes from six local 
primary schools.  Construction of a Chinese shadow puppet theatre and 
staging. The creation of a Pirate Puppet for street performance.Native 
American peg puppets & Bedouin glove puppets.

Meteor science project Park Community School Havant. Propmaking and
scenic art based sculptural installation.

Redlands Primary school Fareham. Puppet based & large scale papier 
mache sculpture  in response to a play called Heart Break Soup the story 
of a child awaiting a heart transplant.

Windrush rd Youth Centre Millbrook southampton. Concrete  head 
sculpture project exploring human anatomy and the plaster waste mould 
process working with clients verging on exclusion from school. Funded by 
Find Your  Talent.

Commissioned by Shirley Warren community gardensSouthampton to 
create  several large willow animal sculptures with the help of young 
people from from King Edwards 5th school and Catch 22 youth offending 
team. 

Artist in residence Bevois town primary school SouthamptonWorking with 
all ages, to create 60 Jack in a Boxes 60 Recycled firebirds, “10 
mechanical merry -go- rounds, A london bridge and a 30ft  Dragon Puppet 
made from recycled materials.

letter sculpture. Working with 13 -21yr olds
